My name is Bianca Tora. I am a retired teacher with 30 years experience in the classroom, a grandmother and a writer. We live in a quiet community in Southwestern Ontario.
For years my husband and I spent almost every summer with our children on the shores of Lake Manitou.
Those were magical years when we spent weeks in a little cottage overlooking the lake. We ran in the morning,swam in the lake,fished from our canoe and played chess at night. We had no TV,no cell phones, just an old rickety radio that kept us in touch with CBC. That was all we needed from the outside world; there was so much of beauty, peace and grace around and about us.
This is a picture of the dock in front of our cottage. It was our own private gateway to the waters of Lake Manitou. Our kids used to play on the dock; they ate their lunches there, feeding the birds and gulls at the same time. They fished, caught crayfish and minnows; in the afternoons,they would snuggle inside a huge rubber tube and read in the breeze. Or they would simply stretch out in the sun and listen to the rhythm of the water, the birds and insects singing about us.
Sometimes, we made the dock a family affair. We barbecued the fish we caught or bought from fish vendors in Mindemoya. And we would invite families from neighboring cottages to join us for a feast. Every one would chip in with their own dishes. By the third summer of this project, we had to move our party further upstream to a headland that gave us more space.
Here is a picture of our son, Michael. This picture was taken in 1985 when he was five. He had been enjoying the cottage since birth and was quite happy in water and under water even before he was a year old.
In retrospect,those were magical years.Because of this interaction with the land, water and nature, we have fostered in our two boys an enduring love for the outdoors.
Their love has been passed on to our grandkids whose summers are now taken up with camping in the woods,swimming in the ocean,running in the fields.
That is a legacy we are proud to have shared with them. And this is a legacy that we believe is helping our grandson now. Being in nature, outdoors, being involved in physical activity has helped our grandson achieve a measure of control over his anger.
We read everything we could on brain development, diet, biofeedback, the power of prayers, intention and belief. And we have found that while there are no easy answers, each day presents opportunities for learning and success,for working the brain, improving behavior, learning new coping strategies and affirming our love for each other. The searching and the learning never stop -- and this is perhaps the most crucial lesson of all!
Not only has our grandson taught us a lot about Individual Differences, the Power of Metaphor and the Power of Belief, Site Build It or SBI has shown us that creating an Online Business Presence is a cinch!

Five years ago, the only thing I could do on the computer was word processing. I was a grandmother and retired teacher. I had minimal understanding of html, keywords and Search Engine Optimization before SBI, but I loved writing.
It is from SBI that I learned the importance of Netwriting--Writing for the Net.By creating well-written pages that are keyword optimized over and over again,I can literally through words build a website filled with information that can help others and create a successful business as well.
Just by following the training provided by SBI videos and forums, I have found a whole new world opening up before me.

I know I am building new circuitry in my brain with SBI training. I am also moving well into the 21st Century. A Home Based Business has never been a better reality for me than now--during my retirement!
